Job Description

In this role you would be responsible for proactively, independently implementing sales strategy and business development for growth of the assigned market/ geography. Primary focus is on prospecting new accounts for the assigned projects, towards meeting revenue goals. You would be responsible for overall team performance, capability development and managing key client relationships. You will lead a highly driven team of sales professionals to identify leads, seek business opportunities and develop strong client relationships towards effective sales. In this role, you will be required to consistently partner with all other Vertical Leads, Marketing Head and Strategy Leads towards achieving the overall sales revenue and business targets.

Key responsibilities

1. Business Development:

  • Support the Business Head in preparation of annual sales strategy, including action plans for assigned markets
  • B rect the teams efforts towards consistent sourcing and closing to acquire new business and subsequently manage clients in collaboration. Actively follow through on potential deals, play a key role during various stages of customer engagement till delivery and provide guidance for query resolution.

2. Industry Awareness

  • Maintain product knowledge, competitor knowledge and a strong understanding of the industry landscape (including price movements, construction activity, key trends and market dynamics) at all times, percolating the same to the entire team.

3. Collaboration and Team Management

  • Assign targets for various team leads, monitor their performance and to ensure that they consistently achieve their targets. •Provide ongoing guidance to the team to ensure they are well equipped to meet business objectives. Ensure the team is engaged, motivated and consistently driven towards achieving set targets.

4. Systems and Process Compliance

  • Ensure highest standards of compliance to Lodha Groups policies, processes and value structure
  • Improve lead management process and TATs, adopt best practices and monitor quality of customer experience. Maintain accurate records for designated accounts and share regular updates with the CSO.

Skills & competencies:

  • Strategic thinking and data-driven decision making. Ability to engage and collaborate with others.
  • Proactive mindset, with strong orientation to drive business results in an agile manner.

  • Educational Qualification:

    MBA preferred

  • Practice and Other Requirements:

    Sales experience of 14+ years with clear focus on top line; Retail Sales, Banking, Telecom background preferred.
