Deputy Store Manager

You will be responsible for leading and managing the Stores function at our Sanand location. Ideal candidates should have a background in engineering or machine-building industries with a strong track record in inventory and store operations. Your main responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day store operations, managing inventory control, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements. Your key responsibilities will involve overseeing day-to-day store operations such as receiving, storage, and issuance of materials and tools. You will be required to manage inventory control, stock audits, and material reconciliation processes, maintain accurate records using an ERP system, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of materials. Additionally, you will monitor stock levels, plan reordering, implement inventory best practices, and ensure proper storage and preservation of materials. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the preparation and verification of GRNs, MRNs, and issue slips, creating and managing Bill of Materials (BOM), and material requirement planning. You will also need to monitor and ensure compliance with safety, audit, and statutory requirements in the stores, as well as lead and train store staff to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of Store and Inventory Management, Engineering Stores, and BOM handling. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel is essential. Prior experience in the machine-building or engineering industry is preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills are required, along with being a self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
