Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management o Lead and mentor multiple Team Leaders and their respective teams (total headcount ~4050 associates) across multiple F&A functions. o Drive performance management, succession planning, engagement, and capability development across teams.

• Service Delivery Oversight o Ensure end-to-end service delivery for Payment Posting, Client Remits, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Reconciliations, and Reporting in line with client SLAs and internal KPIs. o Maintain high-quality output through proactive monitoring, issue resolution, and client-focused delivery.

• Client Engagement & Relationship Management o Act as a key point of contact for mid- to senior-level client stakeholders, ensuring high satisfaction, transparency, and issue resolution. o Lead regular performance reviews, business updates, and governance meetings with clients.

• Transition Management o Lead and oversee process transitions and migrations, from planning to stabilization. o Drive SOP creation, stakeholder coordination, risk mitigation, and resource planning.

• Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement o Identify and implement opportunities for automation, standardization, and process optimization. o Champion Lean/Six Sigma or similar methodologies for efficiency and quality improvements.

• Reporting & Compliance o Ensure accurate and timely submission of management reports, operational dashboards, and client deliverables. o Enforce compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and data security protocols.

• Strategic Contribution o Support planning and budgeting processes for the department. o Contribute to strategic initiatives, client expansion, and new business onboarding.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (MBA/CA/CPA preferred).

• 9–12 years of progressive experience in F&A operations, including 2+ years in a people leadership role managing Team Leaders and larger teams.

• Proven experience handling multiple transitions/projects and managing mid-size to large US-based clients.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial controls.

• Demonstrated expertise across F&A domains—AP, AR, GL, Month-End/Year-End Close, Reconciliations.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAGE, or similar).

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, and client-facing environment.
