Job Description

As a Programme Specialist (M&E) at this renowned NGO located in Ahmedabad, your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing monitoring systems to ensure timely collection, analysis, and reporting of programme data. By strengthening evidence-based decision-making, improving programme quality, and supporting learning for interventions, you will contribute significantly to the organization's impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and manage monitoring systems for effective data collection and analysis. - Strengthen evidence-based decision-making and improve programme quality. - Support learning for the interventions by providing insightful data analysis and interpretation. - Conduct and support research and evaluations, including quantitative and qualitative analysis. - Develop case studies, impact studies, outcome studies/research, and magazines. - Coordinate and manage project assessments, research, and internships. - Support in communication material development and proposal development. - Manage AKRSP(I) MIS and support programme/MIS data analysis and reporting using tools like Excel, Stata, SPSS, Tableau, and ArcGIS. - Visualize programme/MIS data through dashboards, graphs, charts, and reports. - Provide capacity building in data management and analysis for the team. - Manage donor and internal reporting, ensuring quality assurance. - Coordinate and support programme strategy monitoring and evaluation. - Support project implementation with data-driven insights and represent the organization at various levels. - Handle any other tasks assigned by the reporting officer. **Qualifications Required:** - Masters degree in rural management/development, social studies/communications, or relevant fields. - 3-5 years of experience in the development sector, particularly in Documentation, Monitoring Evaluation, and Data Management. **Key Benefits:** - Opportunity to work with a renowned NGO. - On-site and off-site training opportunities. - 5-days work week. - Comprehensive medical insurance for employee, spouse, and children. - Maternity and paternity leave as per organizational policy. - 15 General Leaves and 16.5 earned leaves annually (earned leaves can be encashed if not utilized). - 10 declared public holidays and 3 optional holidays. - Diwali breaks for 5 days every year.
