Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    The Civil Manager will oversee and manage assigned civil construction activities for industrial building projects, ensuring timely completion, quality control, cost efficiency, and adherence to safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Project Planning & Execution: Implement construction plans, schedules, budgets and billing. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, engineering team, TC team and MEP teams. Preparation of BOQ & QS. Ensure timely execution of civil works as per project timelines. Site Management: Supervise site engineers, contractors, and labor teams. Monitor daily progress and resolve on-site issues. Ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Quality & Safety Assurance: Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct regular inspections. Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to statutory regulations. Resource Management: Manage procurement and optimal utilization of materials, equipment, and manpower. Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for timely delivery and execution. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation including drawings, reports, and approvals. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Qualifications and Experience


    Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Minimum 12 years of experience in Industrial building construction. Proven track record of managing large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
