Deputy Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage

  end-to-end payroll processing

  for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
• Lead the

  implementation and setup of payroll systems and processes

  in a Greenfield manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate with the

  Time Office team

  for attendance, leave, and overtime data validation.
• Ensure

  compliance with statutory requirements

  (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus Act, etc.).
• Liaise with

  Finance

  for payroll reconciliations and monthly provisions.
• Maintain and manage

  employee master data

  and ensure confidentiality of payroll information.
• Prepare and review

  monthly payroll reports

  , variance analysis, and audit schedules.
• Handle

  employee queries

  related to salary, deductions, and taxation.
• Support

  annual compensation reviews

  , CTC structuring, and payroll budgeting.
• Manage relationships with external partners payroll vendors, auditors, and statutory authorities.
  
• Stay updated on changes in

  labor laws, taxation, and payroll-related regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, HR, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
  

• 10+ years

  of relevant experience in payroll management, preferably within the

  manufacturing industry

  .
• Experience in setting up or transitioning payroll systems in a

  Greenfield or new plant setup
