Deputy General Manager Events Converge

Roles and Responsibilities

The Deputy General Manager Events will lead the Pan India event strategy for Converge, driving experiential placemaking and engagement across Brookfield India s campuses and flex workspaces. The role demands a strategic leader with strong creative and commercial acumen to shape the events vision, build scalable frameworks, and deliver differentiated experiences that strengthen tenant engagement, community building, and brand value. The DGM will align closely with Brookfield Properties Placemaking team to build and execute a cohesive calendar of tenant experience events that reinforce the brand s vision of creating vibrant, engaging, and community-driven workplaces.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and own the Pan India events strategy, aligning with Converge s business objectives, tenant engagement goals, and placemaking vision.

  • Translate campus-level insights and tenant feedback into strategic experience frameworks that strengthen loyalty and retention.

  • Conceptualize high-impact marquee events and annual IPs that build brand recall and monetization potential.

  • Develop yearly event calendars, budgets, and category-based programming frameworks across geographies and asset classes.

  • Lead a Pan India team of event managers across micro-markets to ensure consistent execution quality and adherence to brand standards.

  • Oversee event production, vendor management, and cross-departmental coordination for seamless delivery.

  • Serve as the strategic partner to internal stakeholders including marketing, leasing, operations, hospitality, and the Placemaking team.

  • Mentor, guide, and upskill the events team to elevate ideation, creativity, and on-ground performance.

  • Develop frameworks for monetization, sponsorships, and partnership-based event models.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and brand guidelines across all events.

  • Experience - 12 15 Years

  • Qualification: Graduate / Postgraduate in Marketing, Communications, or Hospitality Management
