Manager - IT Infrastructure Manager (Network/Projects) IT Services Bengaluru, Full Time Roles and Responsibilities The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of COWRKS network infrastructure across all locations PAN India. The role requires hands-on expertise in enterprise networking (LAN, WAN, WLAN), vendor and ISP coordination, managing network operations, ensuring business continuity, and leading a small team of engineers. The individual will also own network vendor contracts (renewals, billing, payment coordination), handle client escalations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a secure, high-performance network. Core Requirements And Responsibilities Essential job functions included but are not limited to the following: Design & Architecture Plan, design, and implement scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise networks. Evaluate and recommend networking solutions, hardware, and technologies for optimization and innovation. Prepare network architecture diagrams, documentation, and topology plans. Vendor & Commercial Management Manage network-related contracts, service renewals, and SLAs Coordinate with finance and procurement teams for timely vendor payments and documentation. Maintain ISP docket files, invoice tracking sheets, and network asset inventory. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Handle network-related client calls and escalations with professionalism. Proactively communicate technical updates, incidents, or changes to stakeholders. Translate technical issues into business language for non-technical teams. Configuration & Administration Configure routers, switches (Aruba, Cisco), firewalls (Fortinet/Sophos), wireless controllers and access points. Manage network services: DNS, DHCP, VRRP, NAC, VPNs (site-to-site, remote access). Apply firmware/IOS upgrades, patches, and security updates. Routing/Switching: BGP, OSPF, STP, LACP, VPC, VSF, IRF Wireless: Aruba (Mobility Controllers, APs), Cisco WLC, SSID configuration Firewalls: Fortinet (NSE 4), Sophos (basic configuration & policy setup) Protocols: VPN, VRRP, RADIUS, TACACS, ISE Tools: NMS (Network Monitoring Systems), IPAM, NAC Network Operations Monitor network health, uptime, bandwidth usage, and troubleshoot incidents. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for network outages. Coordinate with ISPs and third-party vendors for uptime SLAs and ticket resolution. Compliance & Documentation Ensure network security compliance with internal and external audit requirements. Maintain updated documentation: Network diagrams, IP schemas, access control lists, and policies. Conduct periodic reviews of firewall rules, access lists, and security policies. Preferred qualifications Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent. Experience: 8-10 years of enterprise networking experience 5+ years in managing Aruba/Cisco Wireless and Switching environments 5+ years with firewall technologies (Fortinet preferred) Experience with vendor and ISP coordination, renewals, payments Experience leading a small team or function Certifications (Added advantage): Aruba: ACSA / ACMP Cisco: CCNP (Routing & Switching / Wireless) Fortinet: NSE 4 Additional Requirements Availability for 24x7 escalation support Ability to travel to sites for critical implementations or escalations (PAN India) Strong documentation habits
