Deputy General Manager- Civil Project

Role & responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all project requirements are met.
• Review and approve designs, plans, and construction drawings.

Budget and Cost Management:

• Prepare and monitor project budgets and ensure cost control throughout the construction process.
• Approve and track project expenses and purchase orders.
• Identify and mitigate any financial risks associated with the project.

Team and Stakeholder Management:

• Lead and manage the project team, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Serve as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Ensure effective communication between all project team members.

Risk Management and Problem Solving:

• Proactively identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Resolve issues that arise during the construction phase, ensuring that deadlines and standards are maintained.

Quality Control and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Monitor and enforce quality assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect the quality of work and safety practices.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track the progress of the project and prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Adjust schedules and resources as necessary to ensure the timely completion of the project.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.

Project Closure:

• Ensure the timely completion of the project and handover to the client.
• Oversee the final inspection and resolve any deficiencies or issues before the handover.
• Complete project documentation and conduct post-project evaluations
