Deputy General Manager (Asset Management Solar)

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysis of plant operations in coordination with Asset Manager / Site Manager / O&M operator

1. Analysis of PV modules, Inverters, Transformers for their efficiency
2. Analysis of equipment failures for Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA)
3. Analysis of Low performance strings/modules

• SCADA & SLDC communication system uptime at plants
• Monitoring forecasting & scheduling activity and its effectiveness
• Monitoring timely monthly JMR, Billing & Payment cycle
• MIS (Portfolio) for Generation report including

1. Low Generation Analysis
2. Root Cause Analysis of repetitive faults (minor or major)
3. RCA of one-time major faults
4. MTTR and MTBF

• Timely PM related activity for plants
• Preparation, Monitoring & Analysis of O&M cost budget including spares under owner scope (AOP)
• Managing & Monitoring Compliances related to Portfolio • Managing DMS in coordination with Asset Manager

Monitoring & Analyzing Plant Operations (in coordination with Asset Manager)

• To monitor and analyze O&M reports and provide feedback to COO (weekly basis)
• To report major variations in energy yield or plant performance to COO (Daily basis)
• To track functioning of all solar PV plants in co-ordination with plant managers and O&M operators
• To monitor replacement of faulty material in all plants
• To generate timely plant reports
• To discuss and align all O&M activities in plants in proper manner to maximize Plant Generation
• To suggest measures to control operating O&M budget/s of plants to COO
• To visit plants (minimum once in a quarter or as deemed necessary) under consultation with COO for in-depth monitoring & analyses.
• To maintain record of all important O&M activities of various plants like equipment details, warranty claims, preventive, replacements, cleaning data etc

MIS Interface to Higher Management:

• To capture daily plant generation data provided by Asset Manager and prepare Daily Power Generation Report for circulation to COO
• Weekly summarized reporting of major O & M activities of plants to COO
• To prepare and share customized reports with management as per their requirement in consultation with COO
• To share generation trends with management in consultation with COO and propose solutions to overcome gaps against set targets
