DEPS -Manager

1) Monitoring & Investigation

• Track daily DEPS cases across hubs, linehaul, and last-mile delivery operations.

• Investigate incidents of tampering, damage, or misrouting using CCTV, control tower

data, scan trails, and personnel interviews.

• Visit critical locations (hubs, branches, customer sites) for on-ground RCA.

2) Data Analytics & Reporting

• Generate zone-wise DEPS dashboards with drill-down capability (by customer, route,

location, handler).

• Submit regular DEPS MIS reports to leadership with actionable insights and

recommendations.

• Flag recurring failure points and initiate zone-wide reviews.

• Set monthly targets for DEPS reduction and track performance against KPIs.

3) Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action:

• Investigate all reported DEPS cases thoroughly to identify root causes.

• Coordinate with warehouse, hub, linehaul, and last-mile teams to implement corrective

and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Ensure recurrence of similar issues is avoided through systemic fixes.

4) Process Improvement & SOP Adherence:

• Review and standardize SOPs for handling, loading, packaging, transit safety, and

delivery.

• Work with the Quality and Process Excellence teams to design audits and compliance

checks to improve adherence.

• Conduct RCA workshops and process audits in high-risk zones.

5) Training & Awareness:

• Conduct DEPS awareness and training sessions for operations and handling staff.

• Promote a zero-tolerance culture towards negligence and poor handling.

• Coach frontline staff on packaging integrity, stacking norms, seal tagging, and secure

transit procedures.

6) Customer Communication (as applicable):

• Collaborate with Customer Service to provide timely and professional responses for

DEPS-related escalations.

• Ensure proper documentation for claims processing, including PODs, photographs,

damage notes, etc.
