Job Title: Technical Associate Tank Fram Operation

Job Purpose

(why job exists / what it must achieve)

• Ensuring loading & unloading operation as per standard SOP & safety standards
• Monitoring tanks level & inventory on daily basis
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations is crucial.
• Ensuring proper maintenance of equipments & instruments used for operation & inventory management.
• Safety compliance & emergency response plan in place
• Ensure Tank / Vessel cleaning & tank calibration.
• Achieve zero accidents by following all safety precautions in the entire logistics chain

Role and Responsibilities

Operational:

• Monitoring Tank Levels

  : Regularly check and maintain tank levels to ensure proper storage and distribution. Monitor tank levels, temperatures, and pressures to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Equipment Maintenance

  : Perform routine inspections and maintenance of tanks, pumps, and pipelines. Ensure tanks and equipment are clean and in good working condition

• Safety Compliance

  :
• Ensure all operations comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct safety drills and participate in safety training programs.
• Maintain accurate records of tank farm operations and incidents.
• Report any near miss /incident or any non-compliance as per the company guidelines
• To participate in Root Cause Analysis of incidents / accidents, monitor and ensure implementation of CAPA (Corrective Actions & Preventive Actions)
• Meet the company compliance & KPIs related to EHS.

• Record-Keeping

  : Maintain accurate records of inventory and product movement.

• Coordination and Communication:

• Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics and production, to ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Prepare and submit reports on tank farm activities.

• Emergency Response:

• Respond to emergencies, such as spills or leaks, promptly and effectively.
• Implement emergency response plans and procedures.

• Monitoring and Control:

• Oversee the filling (loading), transferring (unloading) and emptying of storage tanks.
• Use control systems and instrumentation to manage tank farm operations.
• Familiar with center sump operation

Required Knowledge

• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Daily Inventory management (Tank farm & PESO area).
• Ability to handle emergency situations effectively
• Knowledge of tank farm operations and equipment.
• Experience of handling different audits at tank farm.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
• Leading and managing a team.

Education & Experience

Education

Essential: Graduation / Diploma in Eng.

Preferred: B.SC Chemistry

Experience

Essential: 02 04 years in Tank Farm Management with knowledge of handling chemicals and other hazardous materials

Preferred: Good knowledge of ISO loading / unloading, chemical & classified material handling experience.
