We are looking for an experienced Denodo Developer with a strong background in data virtualization, integration, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing Denodo solutions in the banking sector, working with large-scale financial data, ensuring compliance, and enabling seamless data access across business units.
● Design, develop, and maintain Denodo-based data virtualization solutions to integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
● Collaborate with banking domain SMEs, architects, and analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Denodo solutions.
● Develop data services, views, and APIs in Denodo for real-time and batch integration scenarios.
● Optimize Denodo queries and data models for performance and scalability in high-volume banking environments.
● Implement data security, masking, and governance policies aligned with regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, Basel norms).
● Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure availability of data virtualization platforms.
● Document technical designs, architecture, and workflows for stakeholders and audit purposes.
● Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in data virtualization and banking data solutions.
● 6+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in Denodo development.
● Strong expertise in Denodo VDP, Denodo Scheduler, and Denodo Data Catalog.
● Proficiency in SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
● Experience with data integration, ETL/ELT tools, and API-based integrations.
● Exposure to banking domain processes such as:
○ Core banking systems (CBS)
○ Payments (SWIFT, RTGS, NEFT)
○ Risk & Compliance reporting
○ Customer data management (KYC, AML)
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid data virtualization setups.
● Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
● Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
● Experience working with banking/financial institutions in a regulatory-driven environment.
● Knowledge of reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) integrated with Denodo.
● Familiarity with big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) for financial data integration.
● Certifications in Denodo Platform or relevant cloud technologies.
