Demand Planning Role - COE

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a global demand planning strategy aligned with organizational supply chain goals.
• Design, implement, and continuously refine standard demand planning processes, tools, and systems.
• Guide and support regional planning teams through training, best practice sharing, and capability building.
• Work across sales, marketing, finance, IT, and supply chain functions to ensure demand forecasts are accurate and actionable.
• Lead demand planning initiatives such as scenario planning, demand sensing, and predictive analytics.
• Integrate planning processes with digital tools and support the adoption of AI-driven solutions.
• Collaborating with global and regional planning leads to aligning processes and technology across markets.
• Proactively identify integration challenges between tools and processes; ensure smooth system adoption.
• Monitor key planning metrics, including forecast accuracy and inventory performance; drive improvements.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 7-10 years of experience in demand planning or related supply chain roles
• Strong knowledge of forecasting techniques, statistical modeling, and planning processes.
• Proficient in tools like SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, or similar platforms; familiarity with Blue Yonder is a plus.
• Skilled in leading cross-functional initiatives and working in matrixed environments.
• Demonstrated success in implementing advanced planning technologies and driving planning maturity.
• B.Tech with a management degree from a Tier 1 B school are required qualifications for this role. (ref:iimjobs.com)
