Delivery Lead

Role & responsibilities:

• Lead and manage delivery of multiple IT projects within the insurance domain(Life, General, or Health Insurance).
• Ensure alignment of project outcomes with business and technology
• objectives.
• Drive delivery excellence through effective planning, resource management, and governance.
• Manage stakeholder communication across business, IT, and vendor teams.
• Oversee end-to-end SDLC and Agile delivery processes, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and implement
• mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, testing,
• infrastructure, and operations.
• Drive automation, AI adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives across delivery functions.
• Manage team performance, mentoring project managers and technical leads to enhance delivery capability.
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources and adherence to financial targets(budget, cost control, forecasting).
• Support pre-sales, RFP responses, and client presentations as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12-18 years of overall IT experience with at least 68 years in project or
• delivery management.
• Strong domain expertise in Insurance (Life, General, or Health) familiarity with policy admin systems, claims, underwriting, and digital insurance platforms preferred.
• Proven experience in managing large, multi-location delivery programs and distributed teams.
• Excellent understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; SAFe Agile certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience with IT governance, audit, and compliance processes in a
• regulated environment.
• Prior experience working with global teams or captive IT centers is an
• advantage.
