Position Summary
The Delivery Centre Manager will be responsible for overseeing the complete execution and delivery of engineering equipment projects from order receipt to customer handover. This includes planning, coordination, logistics, installation supervision, quality control, and customer support. The role requires strong leadership, operational management skills, and the ability to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Lead the Delivery Centre operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment, assembly, testing, and dispatch of engineering equipment.
Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and enhance service quality.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Logistics teams for timely execution.
Oversee planning and scheduling for multiple delivery projects.
Ensure site readiness, timely installation, commissioning, and training for customers.
Manage resources, including manpower, equipment, and tools, to meet delivery deadlines.
Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the delivery process. Ensure compliance with company standards, engineering specifications, and statutory regulations. Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
Lead, motivate, and mentor the delivery team, including supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
Conduct performance reviews and develop training plans to enhance team capabilities.
Foster a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers during delivery and installation phases.
Address customer concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.
Obtain customer feedback for post-delivery improvements.
Monitor delivery budgets, control costs, and optimize resource usage.
Prepare periodic progress reports, delivery metrics, and operational KPIs for senior management.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical,or Industrial Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
812 years of experience in delivery, operations, or project management in an engineering equipment or industrial sector.
Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex deliveries.
Strong understanding of engineering equipment manufacturing, assembly, and installation processes.
Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
Knowledge of supply chain, inventory control, and quality systems (ISO standards).
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Other Requirements
Willingness to travel to customer sites and delivery locations as required. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on results.
