Job Description

As a Deal Desk Manager at Nutanix, you will play a crucial role in the Global Deal Solutions team, collaborating with various internal stakeholders such as Field Sales, Sales Ops, Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Product Management. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the Field Sales Teams receive the necessary support to achieve Organizational goals by effectively managing the balance between the Organization's objectives and enabling the Field to implement pricing strategies with Customers. You will work closely with the Field to maximize Nutanix revenues through deal structuring, recommending selling models, and collaborating with Finance to evaluate price points and investment accounts. In this role, your key responsibilities will include: - Supporting the Sales Organization on pricing-related initiatives and strategic programs for the ASEAN/Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Korea region - Recommending pricing structures based on Customers" business drivers and value propositions - Influencing discount improvements through competitive intelligence and regional expertise - Providing detailed reporting to Regional Directors and VPs to drive regionally focused pricing strategies - Collaborating with Legal to support non-standard commercial terms and conditions - Building business cases for investment accounts to gain Executive support and play an active role throughout the sales cycle - Conducting daily reviews of deal financials, pricing, and business risks - Ensuring compliance with sales and business approval policies and serving as an escalation point for business leaders - Communicating effectively with Customers, salespersons, internal teams, and external partners - Adapting quickly to a fast-paced, changing environment and working extended hours during quarter ends Your qualifications should include: - Familiarity with deal desk or commercial-selling functions - Expertise in software selling models such as term licenses, perpetual, SaaS, subscription, and utility consumption - Strong communication and active listening skills - Ability to work well in a team, be responsible, flexible, accountable, detail-oriented, and prioritize effectively - Experience in meeting with Customers - Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint - 7+ years of deal desk, finance, software-selling, or sales operations experience - Prior experience with Salesforce is a plus - Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field - Prior experience supporting ASEAN, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Korea is advantageous Nutanix offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work benefits with in-person collaboration. You may be required to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week, depending on team-specific requirements provided by your manager.,
