The Insights Team provides predictive health and support automation for Nutanix customers, enabling them to easily uncover gaps in health and remediate issues that arise, resulting in self-serving of issues by customers. We ensure the success of our groundbreaking technology through cluster health monitoring, quick response time, and unparalleled customer intimacy. Working closely with Sales and Software Engineers, the support team acts as our customers champions. How We Work: At Nutanix, we have a hybrid work model where employees are expected to be in the office three times a week. This allows for a balance between collaboration in person and the flexibility of remote work. Your Role Develop software framework to manage the lifecycle of distributed software systems; OS, hypervisor, and firmware Ability to make the code extendable for a massively distributed infrastructure with several nodes with millions of entities Understanding of micro-services architecture and challenges is a Plus Understanding of container technologies like docker, Kubernetes, etc. is a Plus Understanding of hypervisors like ESXi or KVM is a Plus Ability to implement features by referring to design, by following coding guidelines Understanding intrinsic details about key distributed design principles in virtualized environments. Interact with other teams across the system software stack to clearly communicate and express your technical views and design What You Will Bring Excellent coding skills in any Python, or Golang Ability to collaborate and solve broad problems spanning multiple teams Ability to understand required documents and translate them to code Comfortable working in a fast-moving, agile environment Finely tuned critical thinking and problem-solving skills BS, or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, and 2-6 years of experience Understanding of standard data structures and algorithms.
