Description
Enterprise Architect with over 15 years of experience of which at least 5 in payments domain
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Architecture track in an assessment of client's payment estate for regulatory compliance, resiliency, efficiency and growth
- Lead various streams of architects (Soln, Data, Security, Cyber) for an architecture engagement for modernization or standardization of payment estate for a large enterprise
- Lead Architects and work with delivery team in delivery of a large transformation or payment hub implementation for a large enterprise
- Help in evaluation of payments products / solution for an enterprise based on its functional and non functional needs.
- Lead capture and elicitation of Non functional requirements for a payment solution
- Lead and Own the architecture artifacts (Arch Doc, High Level design) and get its approvals in architecture /review boards
- Identify and highlight risks (technical / non functional) to Stakeholders
- Work as a team with other pillars such as Domain (Business), Delivery (Program management) and various technology streams (Data, Security, Infrastructure) in building, delivering a comprehensive transformation solution
- Lead / review estimation for large transformation engagements
Qualifications
- 15+ years of IT experience of which at least 10 years in Financial Services and 5 years in Payments
- Worked hands-on on large / complex engineering engagements for large enterprises in past.
- Experience with either UK payment schemes (FPS, BACS, CHAPS, etc) or European schemes, e.g. SEPA and knowledge of the other
- Experience on various Integration formats like ISO 20022, 8583, Swift, FIX
- Worked on one of the payment hub technologies like Volante, Fiserv, FIS OPF, and/or Temenos.
- Knowledge of regulations related to payments like as FiDA, DORA, PSD2, GDPR
- Awareness of Cross border payments experience (Foreign Exchange, SWIFT, Correspondent Banking)
- Worked on breadth of technologies, viz. Security, Data, Applications, Integrations, Cloud
- Strong working knowledge of Microservices, Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture, API Strategy
- Knowledge of HA, DR and other stringent non functional requirements for payments industry
- Ability to work with variety of wide stakeholders from CXO, Business, Technology and Delivery teams
- Strong communication, Oration skills to communicate architecture and risks
- Experience delivering across multiple methodologies, including agile, scaled agile, DevOps, etc
