Job Description

Monitor database performance and tuning SQL queries and identifying and resolving scalability issues.
Develop, tune, execute, and manage Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages and database triggers. Provide subject matter expertise and L4 support for MySS Platform to ensure the smooth running of systems and quick recovery from outages/downtime. Provide subject matter expertise and L2, L3 and L4 support for IAM Applications - Customer Identity Repository and Client Information Repository. Migrate private cloud PaaS Application to AWS Public Cloud. Prepare new Oracle platform version rollouts (including testing and documentation) Actively participate in and influence discussions around DB infrastructure needs, and design. Provide input to planning activities to estimate effort to complete sprint planning and execution tasks/activities. Work with Exadata and Oracle teams to provide the necessary capacity and sizing requirements. Monitor/Review database performance and implementing the necessary optimization techniques. Work independently on Oracle database-related issues. Work closely with development and SQA team to complete business deliverables following Agile methodologies of both Scrum and Kanban. Manage DevOps and Change management process for supported applications.

Required Skills
Hand on experience in Oracle Exadata Database and Administration tasks
Proven strong understanding of PL/SQL, SQL and Performance Tuning Demonstrated experience working with Oracle 12g and 19c databases. Must have experience in database technologies, data design and performance optimization for large OLTP applications. Experience with iAgile Process (Scrum and Kanban) Knowledge of Unix shell scripting and DevOps tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, and other build tools Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server Proven ability to work with team across multiple geographical locations in a large, complex business and technical environment. Excellent written and verbal communication
