Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    The People Data Scientist will apply statistical and DS/ML techniques to HR data to support evidence-based decision-making. This role will contribute to projects in employee lifecycle modeling, employee engagement, and talent analytics. Working closely with HR and business teams, the individual will build analytical models and dashboards to uncover actionable insights. The position offers a high visibility opportunity to grow in a data-driven HR environment and influence people strategies through analytics.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    1. Analyze HR Data: Collect, clean, and analyze employee data to identify trends and support strategic HR initiatives and focus areas like retention, engagement, and performance. 2. Build Dashboards & Reports: Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to CPOs and business stakeholders effectively. 3. Support Predictive Modeling: Assist in building and maintaining predictive models for attrition risk, performance management, potential assessment and talent acquisition. 4. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with BU HR teams, Group IT and Promoter Offices to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights. 5. Ensure Data Integrity & Compliance: Maintain data accuracy and quality, enhance people data relevance and ensure ethical use of employee data while complying with data privacy guidelines and standards.

Qualifications and Experience


    1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2. 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within people analytics domains. 3. Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization platforms like Power BI. 4. Familiarity with statistical and data science modeling, optimization, AI/ML techniques 5. Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) or Enterprise solutions desirable.
