Senior Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and statistical analyses.
• Translate complex business problems into data science solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges and define analytical approaches.
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources (e.g., APIs, databases, data lakes).
• Develop robust data pipelines, perform feature engineering, and build model evaluation and monitoring systems.
• Communicate insights, model results, and recommendations clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to knowledge-sharing across teams.
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of deployed models and analytical systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies in the data science field.
  

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science or advanced analytics.
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, etc.) and SQL.
• Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning, deep learning, and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
• Experience deploying models into production and maintaining ML pipelines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience with NLP, time series forecasting, or recommender systems.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly/Dash.
