At FloData Analytics, we’re seeking a versatile Data Science Intern with curiosity across Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Generative AI. The ideal candidate should demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in exploring diverse AI applications, from classical ML algorithms to cutting-edge generative models and vision systems. You’ll work on real-world, cross-domain projects, combining analytical rigor with creative problem-solving and clear communication. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing end-to-end AI solutions across multiple domains - classical machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI applications, working with both structured and unstructured data
• Build robust data pipelines to preprocess, clean, and transform diverse data types (text, images, time-series), ensuring high-quality inputs for modeling; conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns
• Implement and optimize models, ranging from traditional algorithms to advanced architectures (e.g., CNNs, transformers), tailored to project requirements; benchmark and evaluate model performance to ensure scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Exposure to advanced AI methodologies, including transfer learning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Assist in deploying AI solutions using web frameworks (Streamlit/Flask/FastAPI) to create interactive applications with integrated AI capabilities
• Collaborate with senior data scientists on cross-functional projects combining vision, language, and predictive analytics components

Skills Required

• Education: Pursuing a degree/Graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Programming: Strong Python proficiency with NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn; decent SQL expertise
• Machine Learning: Understanding of supervised/unsupervised algorithms, statistical concepts, probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and time series analysis
• Deep Learning: Experience with TensorFlow/PyTorch; Understanding of neural network architectures (CNNs, transformers)
• Computer Vision: Familiarity with OpenCV, object detection (YOLO), OCR, and segmentation techniques
• NLP & Generative AI: Knowledge of text preprocessing, embeddings, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG system

Good to Have

• Experience with AI frameworks (LangChain, LamaIndex, Crew AI)
• Speech recognition models (OpenAI Whisper)
• Automation tools (n8n) and containerization (Docker)
• Portfolio demonstrating cross-domain AI projects
• Version control with Git

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
