About the Role

• 
  Develop and Maintain Data Models: Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on business processes and data requirements.

• 
  Collaborate with Stakeholders: Partner with business, analytics, and data engineering teams to establish a shared understanding of data structures and relationships.

• 
  Ensure Data Integrity and Quality: Implement best practices in data modelling to maintain high-quality data, optimize storage, and ensure data consistency.

• 
  Support Data-Driven Decisions: Build scalable data models that empower analytics and business teams with actionable insights and performance metrics.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 
  Proficiency in data modelling tools such as Erwin Data Modeler, SqlDBM, or similar.

• 
  Strong understanding of database design principles across SQL and NoSQL environments.

• 
  Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes.

• 
  Knowledge of data modelling approaches like Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault, One Big Table (OBT), and BEAM.

• 
  Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

• 
  Minimum 8 years of experience in data modelling, data architecture, or a related field.

Problem-Solving Skills

• 
  Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to address complex data challenges.

• 
  Capability to determine the optimal modelling approach based on scenario and business context.

Business Acumen

• 
  Proven ability to translate complex business processes into comprehensive, scalable data models.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills — able to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• 
  Certifications in data management or data architecture (e.g., DAMA, CDMP).

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
