Job Description

A provider in the Enterprise Software & Data Engineering sector delivering custom software and data-platform solutions for clients across industries. We build scalable data warehouses, analytics platforms, and governed data assets to enable reliable business insights and operational decisioning. This role supports on-site delivery in India, partnering with engineering, BI, and business teams to translate requirements into robust data models.

Primary Title:

Data ModelerRole & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for transactional and analytical systems (OLTP and OLAP).
Translate business requirements into dimensional schemas (star/snowflake) and Data Vault models to support reporting, analytics, and data integration.
Define and enforce modeling standards: naming conventions, keys, constraints, data types, indexing, and documentation for reuse and governance.
Collaborate with ETL/ELT engineers, data engineers, and BI teams to validate mappings, optimize performance, and support implementation and deployment.
Produce clear model artifacts and metadata (ER diagrams, data dictionaries, lineage) and perform impact analysis for change requests.
Review and mentor junior modelers, conduct model design reviews, and drive continuous improvement in modeling practices.
