Job Description

Data Modeling Expertise:

Understand and work with conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise data architecture.

Data Source Alignment:

Leverage the inventory of data sources and ensure accurate alignment with the overall data model.

Data Preparation:

Prepare data transformation logic and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including data mappings, data dictionaries, metadata, and entity-relationship diagrams.

Collaboration:

Work closely with Data Architects, Data Analysts, and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data models.

Standards Enforcement:

Enforce data modeling standards, guidelines, and best practices across projects to maintain consistency and quality.

Communication:

Translate complex data modeling concepts into clear, understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.

Database Design & Optimization:

Support the design and implementation of database schemas and structures, including performance tuning and optimization.
