Job Description

Data Management & Entry

  • Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in computer systems or databases.
  • Compile, verify accuracy, and sort information before data entry.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and ensure high accuracy.
  • Transfer data from paper formats, scanned documents, or digital forms into appropriate software or systems.

2. Record Maintenance

  • Maintain records of activities and completed work.
  • Organize and manage files, ensuring data is stored securely and can be easily retrieved when needed.
  • Create and update spreadsheets, databases, or reports for various departments.
  • Assist in maintaining logs, reports, and documents in both physical and digital formats.

3. Quality Control

  • Regularly check entered data for consistency and accuracy.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies promptly.
  • Conduct data cleaning, formatting, and validation as per company guidelines.
  • Follow data verification procedures to ensure error-free records.

4. Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with other departments (finance, HR, sales, operations, etc.) for data collection and clarification.
  • Report any major data inconsistencies or issues to the supervisor or manager.
  • Support team members in accessing and interpreting stored data when required.

5. Software & System Operations

  • Operate data entry software, CRMs, spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), and ERP systems efficiently.
  • Use office equipment like scanners, printers, and photocopiers to manage records.
  • Adhere to software protocols and ensure timely updates to digital records.

6. Confidentiality & Compliance

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Follow company policies and data protection regulations (like GDPR or internal IT policies).
  • Maintain discretion while dealing with personal or financial data.

7. Reporting & Support

  • Generate daily, weekly, or monthly data reports as per management needs.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support as needed.
  • Participate in periodic audits, ensuring all data entries are up-to-date and traceable.

Skills Required

  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with databases
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: From ₹5,000.00 per month
