Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL workflows
Build and manage scalable data architectures and cloud-based infrastructure
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and governance
Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to understand data needs
Optimize performance of data systems, queries, and storage solutions
Implement data quality monitoring and alerting systems
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data workflows and schemas
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data engineering and cloud technologies

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role
Strong programming skills in languages such as
Python

Java
, or
Scala
Proficient in
SQL
and experienced with
relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
and
NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)
databases
Experience with data processing frameworks like
Apache Spark,Hadoop

Kafka

Flink
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as
AWS

Azure
Familiarity with modern data warehousing tools (e.g.,
Snowflake

Redshift

BigQuery

Experience with orchestration tools like

Prefect
Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Exposure to machine learning pipelines and model deployment
