Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Build and manage databases, caching layers, and cloud-based infrastructure
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Optimize application performance, latency, and reliability
• Implement security and data protection protocols
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues in production environments

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar software engineering role
• Proficiency in backend programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go, Ruby)
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and testing frameworks
• Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and DevOps practices
• Exposure to performance monitoring tools and APMs (e.g., Datadog, New Relic)
