Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement clean, modular, and well-documented backend code in line with industry best practices.
• Develop real-time data pipelines and an event-driven architecture to process continuous data streams and complex event flows.
• Manage and optimize relational databases and handle large-scale datasets.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend systems to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and encouraging engineering excellence.
• Continuously stay up to date with modern backend technologies, tools, and best practices.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in team workflows, tools, and technical strategy.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience designing APIs and managing databases.
• Deep understanding of event streaming and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
• Proficient in at least one backend language or framework; Golang preferred.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Effective communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical team members.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  

Preferred Qualities:

• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design for scalability and performance.
• Expertise in Golang is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the Hadoop ecosystem and tools like Hive, HDFS, Presto, HBase, and Spark.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and performance tuning.
• Prior experience working in startups or product-based companies.
• Highly adaptable, proactive, and motivated to learn and grow continuously.
