Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize robust ETL pipelines using DBT in Snowflake databases.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Develop, test, and maintain scalable data models and datasets to streamline analytics workflows.
• Write high-quality, efficient SQL and Python code to transform and analyze large datasets.
• Establish and enforce data quality, governance, and best practices across the data lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document data pipeline issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts and project progress, both in writing and verbally, within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience as a data engineer, focusing on scalable data infrastructure and analytics solutions.
• Hands-on expertise in DBT and Snowflake (MUST), with a proven track record in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data transformation, manipulation, and analysis.
• Strong programming skills in Python, including data processing libraries.
• Experience working in hybrid work environments, demonstrating adaptability and self-motivation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver in fast-paced, contract engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data orchestration and workflow tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect).
• Background in data governance, security, or compliance frameworks.
• Exposure to large-scale, enterprise-grade data engineering projects.
