Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from internal and external sources
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across pipelines
• Manage and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and related infrastructure
• Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and monitor data pipelines
• Develop and maintain database schemas, views, stored procedures, and indexes
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues related to data infrastructure
• Support data governance, security, and compliance efforts
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-centric role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java)
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Luigi)
• Hands-on experience with cloud data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Data Factory, GCP BigQuery)
• Experience with relational databases and distributed systems
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with data modeling, data governance, and metadata management
• Experience with data lake technologies like Delta Lake, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer Associate)
