Data Engineer

You will work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain

  scalable data pipelines

  (batch and/or real-time)
• Develop and optimize

  ETL / ELT workflows

  for structured and semi-structured data
• Work with large datasets across multiple sources (databases, APIs, event streams)
• Ensure

  data reliability, quality, and consistency

  across systems
• Optimize data storage, partitioning, and query performance
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to translate data needs into technical solutions
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for data pipelines
• Support data migrations, transformations, and platform upgrades

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in

  SQL

  and experience with relational databases
• Hands-on experience with

  Python / Scala / Java

  for data processing
• Experience building pipelines using tools like

  Airflow, DBT, Spark, or similar

• Solid understanding of

  data modeling, warehousing concepts, and schema design

• Experience working with

  cloud data platforms

  (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Familiarity with data lakes, columnar storage, and file formats (Parquet, ORC, etc.)

Good to Have

• Experience with

  streaming platforms

  (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub)
• Exposure to

  big data frameworks

  (Spark, Hadoop ecosystem)
• Knowledge of

  CI/CD practices

  for data workflows
• Understanding of

  data governance, security, and access controls
