The Role:

This role will be required to build ETL data pipelines for Data warehousing. The candidate needs to have Hands-on experience with SQL and any of standard ETL tools like Talend, Informatica, Pentaho, etc. One is expected to have good data modelling skills to transform data as per business needs. And should be aware of scripting languages like Python, Shell Scripting or Java and exposure to big data technologies like Spark/Scala/PySpark will be added advantage. The successful candidate will have experience in building and managing complex Datamart’s and develop database solutions to ensure company information is stored effectively and securely. Also, the candidate should be a self-starter, with strong attention to detail, vocally self-critical, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements
• Optimize new and current database systems
• Use scripting languages to automate key processes governing data movement, cleansing, and processing activities

Requirements:

• 2+ years of strong experience with data transformation & ETL on large data sets
• 2+ years of Data Modeling experience (i.e., Relational, Dimensional, Columnar, Big Data)
• 2+ years of complex SQL or NoSQL experience
• Experience in advanced Data Warehouse concepts
• Expertise in SQL and advance SQL.
• Experience in industry ETL tools (i.e., Informatica, Talend)
• Experience with Reporting Technologies (i.e., Tableau, PowerBI)
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Must be self-managed, proactive and customer focused
• Experience in programming languages (Python, Java, or Bash scripting)
• Good to have Experience with Big Data technologies (i.e., Hadoop, Spark, Redshift, Vertica, Hive, etc.)
• Experience as an enterprise technical or engineer consultant
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
