Job Title: Data Center Engineer

Experience: 8+ years

Locations: Hyderabad, Vizag

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Engineer with over 8 years of hands-on expertise in deploying, administering, and troubleshooting modern data center technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with VMware product suite (ESXi, vCenter, VDI, vRealize), enterprise storage platforms (EMC, NetApp, Pure), compute platforms (Cisco UCS, HP, Dell), data center networking (Nexus, ACI, NSX), and Dell PowerProtect solutions. Familiarity with Nutanix multicloud infrastructure, storage, and databases is essential. The role involves complete data center lifecycle management, operational support, and architecture collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot the VMware virtualization suite, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vRealize, and VDI environments.

Manage storage solutions including EMC, NetApp, and Pure, handling provisioning, backups, and performance tuning.

Administer and support compute platforms such as Cisco UCS, HP, and Dell servers.

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot data center networks including Cisco Nexus switches, ACI fabric, and VMware NSX or similar platforms.

Deploy and manage Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery and PowerProtect Data Manager solutions for backup and disaster recovery.

Manage Nutanix multicloud infrastructure, including storage configurations and database deployments.

Perform capacity planning, monitoring, and proactive performance tuning across all infrastructure layers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integrations, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.

Document all infrastructure architecture, procedures, and support plans.

Participate in on-call rotation and ensure 24x7 support for mission-critical systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years of experience in data center infrastructure engineering.

Hands-on expertise in VMware ESXi, vCenter, vRealize, and VDI technologies.

Experience deploying and managing enterprise storage platforms: EMC, NetApp, Pure.

Strong experience with server hardware platforms: Cisco UCS, Dell PowerEdge, HP ProLiant.

Proficient in networking technologies: Cisco Nexus, ACI, and VMware NSX.

Hands-on experience with Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery and PowerProtect Data Manager deployments.

Practical exposure to Nutanix enterprise cloud platform, including storage and database operations.

Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across infrastructure layers.

Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Willingness to work in Hyderabad or Vizag locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

VMware certifications (VCP-DCV, VCAP).

Cisco Data Center certifications (CCNP Data Center, CCIE preferred).

Dell or NetApp certified professional credentials.

Experience with multicloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) in hybrid deployments.
