Note

We need skilled *Technical Support Representatives* to handle break-fix requests for Supermicro clients who can diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues for a wide range of server and computer components within data center environments.  

Professionals in the system engineering field, particularly those with experience in working with servers, should possess a combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills. 

Core Technical Skills

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving ability for diagnosing and resolving complex server hardware problems, including running diagnostic tests and analyzing logs.

·      In-depth knowledge of server architectures, hardware components (CPU, memory, GPUs, power supply, backplanes), and system integrations such as x86-based systems, storage configurations (including RAID), and network interfaces.

·      Troubleshooting experience on NVIDIA and AMD GPUs 

·      Familiarity with server operating system environments (Windows, Linux, virtualization platforms) and the impact of BIOS, drivers, and firmware on hardware stability.

·      Hands-on experience with the physical assembly, repair, and replacement of parts in rack and blade servers, including safe handling of electronics

Supporting and Organizational Skills

·      Clear technical communication for documenting troubleshooting steps, presenting findings, collaborating with engineers, and training others.

·      Project and time management for juggling multiple hardware issues, coordinating escalation, and reporting in enterprise or data center environments.

·      Ability to work under pressure and ensuring troubleshooting is performed within client SLAs

Other Desirable Skills

·      Customer service attitude and ability to explain technical issues to non-experts or clients.

·      Basic understanding of networking and data center operations, such as racking, cabling, and compliance.

·      Staying updated with emerging technologies, vendor-specific diagnostics, and best practices that match evolving Supermicro product lines
