About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect with immense experience in designing, scaling, and

optimizing high-performance, enterprise-grade database systems. The ideal candidate will bring

deep expertise in both relational and non-relational databases, and a strong track record of

supporting mission-critical, 24x7 systems across multi-location, multi-tenant environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, high-availability database architectures across diverse

platforms.

• Architect, manage, and optimize relational (PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB,

Elasticsearch, Graph DB) data systems.

• Lead initiatives to scale and tune databases for large-scale enterprise applications.

• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across production and staging

environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and DevOps teams to support

development, deployment, and real-time analytics needs.

• Define and implement data modelling standards and best practices for structured and

unstructured data.

• Drive innovation in data architecture for multi-location, multi-tenant environments.

• Support disaster recovery, backup, and failover strategies for mission-critical, always-on

systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, database engineering, or a related role.

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or relevant open-source data platforms.

• Deep expertise in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Graph DB.

• Proven experience in building, scaling, and performance-tuning large-scale, distributed

databases.

• Prior experience working with large enterprise environments and complex infrastructure

setups.

• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

• Experience supporting 24x7 mission-critical applications.

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native databases and data services (AWS, Azure, or

GCP preferred).

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across

functions.

• Certification in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Cloud Database Architecture is a plus
