About the Role

DAM Librarian

Key Responsibilities

📁 Asset Organization

• Upload, organize, and maintain digital assets (images, videos, multimedia, etc.) within the DAM platform
• Develop and implement standardized taxonomy, tagging, and folder structures for improved navigation

🏷️ Metadata Management

• Assign, update, and maintain accurate metadata for all assets to enhance searchability
• Ensure consistency and quality across metadata fields and asset descriptions

🔐 Access Control

• Manage user roles, permissions, and access rights within the DAM system
• Collaborate with IT to ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance

🔄 Workflow Integration

• Integrate DAM workflows with other tools and systems used across the organization
• Partner with content creators (Omni/GBS/Marketing teams) to streamline asset upload and retrieval processes

📚 Training & Support

• Conduct training sessions to help teams effectively use the DAM platform
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot system-related issues

📝 Audit & Compliance

• Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with copyright and licensing requirements
• Stay up-to-date on DAM best practices and industry standards

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Life Sciences

  or related field
• 3+ years of project management, operations, or DAM-related experience
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience managing or supporting complex, multi-step processes
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
• Ability to manage multiple high-volume projects simultaneously
• Experience in the

  biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry

  strongly preferred
