Job Purpose and Impact The Dairy Technical Sales Lead based at Amritsar will be aligned to Cargills Feed Nutrition business in India In this role you will assist commercial team members with technical solutions and support interactions with clients and prospective customers, to help them understand how the company can provide solutions for them and improve profitability In this role, you will assist to ensure new technologies and tools are utilized to provide competitive customer focused solutions, Key Accountabilities Assist more commercial team members to establish and cultivate effective partnerships with customers to maintain existing business and gain new ones, Manage product demonstrations and trials of products and ensured work according to required specifications, Work with key decision makers for new product development process and analyze their needs for proper product positioning, Assist with commercial prospecting and anticipate technological developments led by more senior team members, Data analysis and interpretation of data at individual farm village and district level, Identify and gather information on customer requirement and recommend appropriate service and product, Support sales efforts to understand and solve basic customer issues following established process, Support cross functional teams including strategic marketing technology to develop and proof new products, Technical training to the commercial team, Assist sales support team by providing necessary technical support information for preparing quotes, Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff, Other duties as assigned, Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in a related field or equivalent experience, Must be fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and English, Preferred Qualifications A qualified M V Sc (Animal Nutrition), Years of experience: 0 2 years, Should have experience in the dairy feed sector and specifically farm management, Aware of new technologies in the dairy sector, Experience and ability to guide farmers on good cattle breeding & feeding practices, Strong commercial acumen, Open to travelling atleast 18 days every month, Disclaimer Protect yourself against recruitment fraud Cargill will not ask for money, processing fees, or bank information as a pre-condition of employment We are aware that unauthorized individuals may have posed as Cargill recruiters, made contact about job opportunities, and extended job offers via text message, instant message or chat rooms To ensure a job posting is legitimate, it must be listed on the Cargill /Careers website Learn how to protect yourself from recruitment fraud
