Job Description :

We are looking for a Customer Support Engineer (Field-Based) who will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support to clients. The role involves installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and related equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, good communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach

Note: This is a field-based role, and a bike is mandatory for client visits.

Key Responsibilities :

Interact with clients via phone, email, or in person to understand and resolve technical issues.

Install, configure, and maintain computer applications, operating systems, and network components.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.

Handle issues related to desktop systems, printers, plotters, scanners, and other IT peripherals.

Configure and monitor computer networks, ensuring proper connectivity and system performance.

Provide timely and accurate feedback and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the support process.

Document all issues, resolutions, and procedures in the knowledge base and system logs.

Coordinate with internal teams for escalated issues to ensure timely resolution.

Follow up with clients after service to ensure issues are fully resolved.

Learn and update knowledge regularly through company portals and training (e.g., HP Portal).

Prepare accurate reports and maintain service records.

Assist in deploying new hardware or software systems for client companies.

Train users on system usage and basic troubleshooting procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Any Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Experience:

years in desktop / network support or field service.

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and basic networking.

Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple client visits.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
