Audiometrist

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct

  hearing assessments

  and audiometric tests for patients of all age groups.
• Perform

  Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Tympanometry, Speech Audiometry, OAE, and other hearing tests

  as required.
• Accurately record, interpret, and maintain patient test results.
• Provide

  counselling to patients

  regarding hearing loss, test outcomes, and follow-up steps.
• Assist in recommending further medical evaluation, ENT consultation, or hearing aid support when necessary.
• Maintain

  calibration and upkeep of audiology equipment

  as per standards.
• Ensure compliance with

  clinical safety protocols

  and Focus Diagnostics policies.
• Educate patients and attendants about

  preventive hearing care

  and safe hearing practices.
• Collaborate with ENT specialists, physicians, and diagnostic staff for integrated patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Audiometry, Audiology, or related field.
• Certification and license (as applicable under state regulations).
• Minimum

  1–2 years of experience

  in audiometry testing (freshers with internship experience may also apply).
• Strong knowledge of audiological testing procedures and equipment handling.
• Good communication and counselling skills in

  English, Telugu, and Hindi

  (preferred).
• Patient-focused, empathetic, and professional attitude.
