15 years full time educationSummary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure that the solutions you deliver are scalable and high-performing, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of software specifications and design. - Engage in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices. - Monitor & Investigate: Actively monitor the platform to ensure optimal performance and conduct thorough investigations into any detected issues. - Operational Support: Assist in the operational activities by managing exceptions, resolving incidents, and ensuring smooth platform operations. - Technical Support: Provide technical support to internal teams and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the platform. - Testing & QA: Participate in testing activities, ensuring the platform's robustness, stability, and performance. - Feedback Loop: Collaborate with the development and operations teams to relay feedback and suggest improvements based on monitoring insights. - Platform Maintenance: Support the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the platform with a focus on monitoring and automation. - Reporting: Prepare and deliver technical reports for various committees, providing insights and data-driven recommendations. - Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on monitoring tools, procedures, and best practices to ensure high operational standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Grafana, Prometheus Event Monitoring System, Enterprise Systems Monitoring Tools, System Monitoring Tools & Techniques. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Prometheus Event Monitoring System, Enterprise Systems Monitoring Tools, System Monitoring Tools & Techniques. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks. - Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies. - Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent. - DevOps & Automation: Understanding of DevOps tools and technologies like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, with knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes. - Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby, with experience in automating monitoring tasks. - Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments like Azure or Google Cloud, particularly in setting up and managing monitoring services. - Infrastructure as Code: Knowledge of tools like Terraform for automating infrastructure management. - Version Control: Experience with Gitlab or similar version control systems. - Networking: Solid understanding of networking protocols and principles, with the ability to diagnose and resolve network-related issues. - Database Management: Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like Elasticsearch for monitoring and data analysis. - Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to analyze complex systems and processes to identify and resolve issues efficiently. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages such as Chinese, French, Spanish, German, or Italian are a plus. - Team Collaboration: A team player who enjoys working in a diverse, international environment, with the ability to work independently on complex projects. - Team player, able to work independently on complex matters/ projects Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Grafana. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required., 15 years full time education
