About the Role
This role demands someone who doesn’t just use STEM labs but reimagines what they can do for young learners. You’ll shape ENpower’s technology education vision, build curriculum frameworks that blend creativity with computational thinking, and influence how labs are designed. Think of it as architecting the DNA of future-ready learning. You’re not here to maintain status quo; you’re here to quietly challenge it.---Key Responsibilities1. Curriculum Vision & Frameworks
Lead the design of ENpower’s technology learning pathways across Grades 6–12, grounded in constructivism, constructionism, backward design, and Kolb’s learning cycle.Develop interdisciplinary, technology-integrated curriculum frameworks that connect STEM with entrepreneurship, design thinking, environmental sciences, arts, and real-world problem solving.Build structured progression maps for competencies, skills, and tech-exposure across grade bands.2. STEM Lab Strategy & Design
Co-create and refine STEM lab models (Skill Lab, Mini Lab, Micro Lab, Mobile Lab) aligned with skills education.Advise on lab equipment, layout, learning zones, safety, student workflows, and educator enablement.Identify emerging technologies and integrate them meaningfully into ENpower’s lab design philosophy.3. Technology Integration & Innovation
Champion the use of new and unconventional tools for student learning moving beyond “teach coding” to “teach how to think about technology, and apply it for creating real solutions.”Build activity banks that connect technology with authentic real-world challenges and interdisciplinary themes.Evaluate and experiment with tools such as AR/VR creation platforms, AI/ML kits, Gen AI tools, Google Earth, TinkerCAD, educational simulations, and robotics ecosystems.4. Research, Pilots & Field Testing
Conduct needs assessments in schools, analyze learning environments, and refine curriculum based on field insights.Run pilots to validate tech integration approaches, gather data, and iterate content design.Stay updated with global STEM education trends and translate them into ENpower’s context.5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with training, implementation, and M&E teams to ensure the curriculum is usable, scalable, and measurable.Support teacher capacity-building by providing pedagogical tools aligned with the curriculum.Collaborate with product, design, and leadership teams on new lab models, new programs, and student experiences.---Required Skills & CompetenciesEducational & Pedagogical Foundations
Strong grounding in learning theories: backward design, constructivism, constructionism, experiential learning, Kolb’s learning cycle.Ability to translate abstract pedagogy into actionable frameworks and tech-enabled learning experiences.Technology Expertise
Experience with the following is essential:Programming & Creative Tech: Scratch, Python, Gen AI platformsHardware & Engineering: Electronics, Arduino/IoT, robotics kitsImmersive Tech: AR/VR tools, creation platforms3D & Spatial Tech: TinkerCAD, simple CAD toolsEducational/Exploratory Tools: Google Earth, Google Experiments, real-world learning platforms, educational gamesCurriculum & Learning Design
Ability to design competency-based, interdisciplinary curriculum frameworks.Experience embedding technology into non-tech subjects (science, geography, art, humanities, SDGs, etc.).Comfort designing student projects that bridge tech and real-life challenges.Lab Understanding
Strong understanding of STEM lab equipment, student workflows, safety norms, and child-friendly design principles.Experience with setting up or designing labs is a significant advantage.Mindset & Orientation
Systems thinker who understands how curriculum, space, tools, and pedagogy interact.A disruptor at heart: someone who sees STEM not as “coding classes” but as a gateway to agency, curiosity, and problem-solving.Forward-looking, experimental, and unafraid to challenge outdated practices in STEM education.---Preferred Experience
5-7 years in STEM education, curriculum design, makerspaces, innovation labs, ATLs/ D&T labs, EdTech programs, or similar roles.Experience working with underserved or diverse student communities.Prior exposure of creating products, designing labs, or design thinking is a plus.If you are interested, send your resume and 2-3 work sample (curriculum frameworks/ lesson plans/ storyboards/ videos) to sharwari.kulkarni@enlearning.in
