Description
This role leadsa team of professionals engaged in curriculum design, content development, andassessment design for SEL, Values & Character Education Programs at Val-EdInitiatives. The job involvesdeep-rooted interaction with clients to understand needs, developing a designphilosophy & framework for content developers to work by, overseeing customizedcurriculum & lesson plans & event plans development, maintainingcontent repository and also inspecting & assessing impact. Scopeand Areas of work: Curriculumand Lesson Plan Design & Development onValues, Life Skills & SEL for Children aged 3 yrs to 16 yrs (Delivered in Schools+ Direct to Child) EventsDesign for Children, Parents &/or Teachers based onValues, Life Skills & SEL (Online/Offline) ImpactAssessment of overall curriculum & content through fair,scientific & accurate methods OutReach Content Content for Program Proposals, Short ConferenceStage Talks, Newsletters, Social Media Engagement, Brochures, Website,Emailers, etc. ContentManagement Ensuring safe & structured storage ofProprietary content of Val-Ed. TeamManagement Overseeing Recruitment & Onboarding ofContent Developers, setting delivery expectations, Guidance & Mentoring,Coordinating & Collaborating with Consultants, Freelancers for timely andquality execution of projects Experience,Skills and Qualifications for this role: Post Graduate with a degree from recognizedstate/central/private university Prior experience in designing curriculum &developing lesson plans for children & adults in educational institutions Prior experience of leading a team of professionalsin the education industry for at least 3 years Must have at least 2 year experience of working onprojects in at least one of the following - Values Education/Life Skills Education/Well-Being/Social EmotionalLearning/Character Education High level of written & spoken proficiency inEnglish & speaking proficiency in Kannada & Hindi Active on mail, whatsapp & phone Skills in MS Office (word, excel, ppt, etc), onlinetools such as Google drive, google sheets, forms, etc.), video and audio tools(Zoom, Google hangouts, Teams etc) Penchant to learning & incorporating new Online& Offline Teaching Tools/Techniques Initiative, adaptability and willingness to gobeyond your specific roles and tasks, whenever required. Thinking and problem-solving skills - assessingsituations, identifying problems and solutions, analyzing, innovating, etc.
