Position Summary


We're looking for a Content Curator in Josh Talks team to drive the curation of our YouTube channel. You will work with people across content, marketing, and production teams to skyrocket the growth of Josh Talks.


Key Responsibilities


  • Researching, ideating, and creating content and marketing collaterals for the Josh Talks.
  • Researching and collecting data on competitors, new trends, previous talks, and newly released talks.
  • Writing copies for marketing and ad collaterals, YouTube video titles, and descriptions.
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis to derive marketing and content insights.
  • Developing the content strategy and maintaining the content calendar. This includes understanding the types and themes of content and choosing the ideal form of content.
  • Researching, sourcing, qualifying and finalizing speakers for high-intent talks (videos). Understanding and connecting the speaker's story with the audience's aspirations, and selecting the right approach.
  • Researching and understanding our target audience, to better curate and deliver content that is engaging and resonates with them.
  • Writing scripts for YT high-intent talks, keeping in mind the audience’s pulse and the YT algorithm, and directing the Talk and the speaker to get the desired output.
  • Working closely with the production and post-production teams to ensure the output is of the desired quality.
  • Writing and curating ads to drive effective conversions. Structuring the story based on the script to maintain flow and engagement.
  • Creating and designing thumbnail iterations, including the copy, to drive higher conversions.
  • Creating the video title, video description and captions to integrate the Josh Talks(English Channel) and drive higher engagement and conversions.




Competencies and Skills Required


  • Prior experience in writing effective copies to convey the value proposition and story to the audience to drive conversions.
  • Prior experience in analyzing and curating various types of content, both long-form and short-form.
  • Prior experience in designing and creating multiple thumbnails and marketing collateral iterations.
  • Creative bent of mind to ideate and create multiple variations and interactions to choose the ideal format.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, YouTube Studio, and all Social Media platforms.
  • Ability to collect, collate, and structure data into readable and understandable formats.
  • Structured thinking and the ability to break down complex problems to understand their drivers, and quantify relationships between input and output data points.
  • Strong networking ability to source, qualify and bring new speakers on board.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of 1 or more years in scriptwriting for YouTube videos.
  • Experience and interest in creating content for Bharat (tier-2 and beyond India).
  • Intermediate knowledge of tools such as Google Sheets and Forms.
