About this Role

This role is responsible for managing credit risk within the Credit to Collections function at the FSSC in Ahmedabad. The individual will evaluate, and structure leveraged transactions, assess creditworthiness, and ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory standards. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, a proactive approach to risk mitigation, and effective stakeholder engagement.

You are comfortable working in dynamic environments and have a deep understanding of financial statements and risk assessment tools.

What you will do

  • Evaluate creditworthiness of clients using financial analysis and risk modelling.
  • Structure and negotiation leveraged transactions aligned with internal risk appetite.
  • Monitor credit risk portfolio KPIs include bad debt, churn, and vetting outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, internal audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on risk-related projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting to Finance Operations and Business Partners.
  • Support month-end and year-end closures, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare detailed credit risk reports and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to global performance metrics.
  • Resolve operational process and control issues within the team.

What skills you need

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in credit risk analysis, preferably in leveraged finance or structured transactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency n SAP (S4 Hana), Oracle, and MS Office tools.
  • Experience in Order to Cash and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and credit modelling.
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral).
  • Experience in Robotics or project handling (preferred).
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and adapt to change.
