Credit Analyst - Financial Institutions

We are expanding our FIG Lending vertical which focuses on NBFCs in the 200Cr.+ AUM range across PL, MFI, Vehicle, Housing, MSME, Education etc. We are hiring for the role of Credit expert for our FI

Vertical at our Gurugram office. We are specifically looking for passionate, talented and hungry individuals who excel in Credit Analysis ,Credit Appraisal and underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth credit analysis of Financial Institutions Clients for PAN India.

Deliver timely, high-quality research reports supported by financial modeling, peer comparisons,

and risk assessments.

Engage in detailed discussions and meetings with senior management of rated institutions to

understand business models, strategy, governance, and risk management practices.

Present analytical findings to internal rating committees with clarity and strategic insight.

Maintain regular interaction with issuers, investors, and media to communicate ratings rationale

and sector outlooks.

Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors impacting the

financial sector.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

CA / MBA (Finance) from Tier 1 Institute

1.5+ years in credit analysis & appraisal or risk assessment roles for FIG.

Experience in underwriting FIs (NBFCs or MFIs) is mandatory.

Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment tools.

Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit rating tools.
