Creative Strategist (Performance Marketing – Consumer Tech)


About the Role

We are seeking a Creative Strategist with a proven track record of conceptualising and producing high-performing ad creatives for consumer tech brands. You’ll be the driving force behind campaign ideas that don’t just look good—but convert. Working closely with growth, design, and product teams, you will transform insights into thumb-stopping concepts that maximize ROI across Meta, Google, and other digital platforms.


Key Responsibilities


Conceptualization & Strategy

  • Develop creative strategies and concepts tailored for performance campaigns (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Translate consumer and brand insights into compelling creative hooks, narratives, and visual treatments.
  • Define clear creative hypotheses and test plans aligned to campaign objectives.


Creative Production

  • Collaborate with designers, editors, and copywriters to produce high-quality ad creatives (videos, reels, statics, GIFs).
  • Own end-to-end creative execution—from brainstorming to final delivery—ensuring assets meet brand tone and drive performance KPIs.
  • Work with external agencies/freelancers when needed to scale production.


Performance & Optimization

  • Partner with the growth team to analyze creative performance, iterate quickly, and scale winning concepts.
  • Continuously evolve creative strategy by running structured experiments (A/B tests, format testing, messaging variations).
  • Identify emerging content trends and adapt them to consumer tech positioning.


Qualifications & Skills

  • 3–6 years of experience in creative strategy or performance marketing, ideally within consumer tech/D2C brands.
  • Strong portfolio of ad creatives with proven business impact (click-through, conversion, retention).
  • Deep understanding of digital platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn).
  • Ability to translate consumer psychology and data into compelling creative concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with video-first formats and short-form storytelling.
  • Excellent collaboration skills—able to work with marketing, product, and design stakeholders.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Figma, After Effects, Premier Pro, or Canva for quick prototyping.
