What You'll Do As a GenAI Creative Manager, you will be the creative and strategic force behind AI-driven brand and video initiatives within the BCG Design Studios—guiding projects from concept through final delivery. You’ll lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams including writers, designers, editors, and producers, while integrating generative AI technologies to transform creative processes and storytelling. You’ll develop and pitch original, AI-assisted concepts, scripts, and storyboards that translate strategic briefs into bold, innovative campaigns. As a fluent user of the latest AI creative tools—such as video synthesis, text-to-image/video generation, and AI editing—you will embed cutting-edge capabilities directly into our workflows. You’ll also play a key role in capability building: Training and upskilling internal Design Studio (DS) teams on generative AI tools and best practices Leading workshops and creative training sessions with internal case teams and external clients Driving awareness and adoption of emerging AI tools and trends, ensuring the team stays ahead of the curve In addition to being a strong creative leader, you’re hands-on when needed—jumping in to write copy, shape visual narratives, or direct motion pieces to bring ideas to life. You thrive in high-velocity environments and can shift gears seamlessly between strategic planning, creative execution, and client-facing engagements. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients, lead presentations, guide creative reviews, and ensure the highest standards of craft and innovation across all media formats. As an individual contributor, you will work with our consultant teams, leading and overseeing design projects end-to-end by executing complex and ambiguous briefs with minimal direction, translating business language and processes into creative ideas, concepts, and engaging stories to achieve the consulting vision and leverage storytelling in compliance with BCG standards YOU’RE GOOD AT Directing AI-enabled multimedia and video campaigns with compelling narrative structures Providing strategic and conceptual leadership across project teams Balancing big-picture vision with tactical detail, ensuring consistency and creative integrity Developing AI-based tools, workflows, or automation to improve creative output (preferred) Staying ahead of emerging AI technologies and integrating them to elevate work Inspiring, managing, and mentoring cross-functional creative teams What You'll Bring A bachelor’s degree in Design, Film, Media Arts, or a related creative/technical field 8+ years of creative leadership experience, ideally in an agency or media/tech environment Proven experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Google Flow, Runway, Flux) Demonstrated ability to develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards for video and multimedia Familiarity with programming/scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and AI tool-building (a plus) Strong client-facing and presentation skills Deep understanding of brand storytelling, aesthetics, and design systems Experience collaborating with motion designers, editors, and technical producers Who You'll Work With As part of Design Studios, you will collaborate with global designers and colleagues across BCG to bring design expertise and capabilities to clients as well as internal teams. GDS comprises a diverse group of talented design professionals across video, content, digital design, etc., all of which work collaboratively to deliver the most cutting-edge design solutions.
