Job Summary:The Counter Sales Executive is responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, and assisting them with product selection and purchases at the sales counter. The role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining product displays, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or services. Provide detailed product information, including pricing, features, and specifications. Process sales transactions accurately (billing, invoicing, and payments). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales counter and product display area. Update stock records and report low inventory levels to the store manager. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns courteously. Build and maintain relationships with repeat customers. Achieve individual and team sales targets. Support the store team in merchandising, promotions, and stock arrangement. Skills & Qualifications: Minimum qualification: SSLC / PUC / Bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior experience in counter sales or retail sales is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good product knowledge and ability to learn quickly. Basic computer knowledge (billing software, Excel, POS systems). Customer-focused attitude with a positive and energetic approach. Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets. Work Environment: Location: Hoysala Sports Working Hours: [e.g., 10.00 AM – 8:30 PM, 6 days a week] optional weekday week off Reports To: Store Manager / Sales Supervisor
